After a decade of competing and achieving some real milestones in auctioneering, now that she is retired, Lisa is looking forward to having more time to serve this fabulous fraternity at the helm of the 2026 REINZ National Auctioneering Championships. The experience and growth Lisa has gained throughout her years – both competing and in her full-time role as an Auctioneer – have been life-affirming and purposeful. She holds immense gratitude for her auction mentors and peers as they have all contributed to her journey.
Alexandra is a dedicated buyer's agent based in Auckland, specialising in guiding clients through the complex process of purchasing their ideal home. As the founder of Martelli & Co, established in 2023, Alexandra expertly represents her clients at auctions and in negotiations, ensuring they secure high-quality properties at fairer prices. Alexandra has been involved in a number of auction competitions over the past few years, both as a participant and judge, and looks forward to seeing more exceptional talent in the 2026 REINZ National Auctioneering Championships.
In his over 20 years in the real estate industry Hayden has held sales and leadership roles both nationally and internationally, including National Auctioneer, CEO of a nationwide group, and director of multiple real estate companies. Known for his strong leadership, talent in training, and success in coaching, Hayden brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Co-Founder and CEO of Bower Realty Group. Hayden is also an accomplished auctioneer, having competed in the REINZ National Auctioneering Championships multiple times and earning recognition as a past finalist. His focus remains on driving performance, fostering growth, and delivering exceptional results in the real estate sector.
John has been in the industry nigh on 21 years and has been an auctioneer for the last 15 years. His passion for auctioneering is evident, having competed for 10 years in the REINZ auctioneering championships, and twice making it to the Australasian championships. John is keen to share his knowledge and what he’s been taught with all auctioneers, and he’s honoured to have been asked once again to judge the 2026 National Auctioneering Championships.
Having worked as an auctioneer since 2014 and enjoying a decade of competitions Ned considers it a privilege to be part of the REINZ Championships in a different capacity this year as a judge. This pinnacle event provides a fantastic opportunity for auctioneers to grow and measure their abilities against their peers, always coming out the other side better and wiser than when they entered. He’s looking forward to an entertaining few days!
Since entering the real estate industry in January 1987, Peter has worked actively and continuously as a sales agent and part time auctioneer. After 38 years of selling residential real estate, Peter prides himself on being authentic with both buyers and sellers. He is committed to ongoing learning and improvement as a professional. Peter displays excellent communication skills, unless it involves communicating with his wife and sons. His genuine and sincere approach towards customers and clients has enabled him to form strong long term relationships. Including maintaining connections with families across three generations. Achieving the best results possible, adapting to changed market conditions; working collaboratively with his owners; and dealing with buyers, demonstrating integrity and respect, is integral to Peter’s formula for success.
With a strong track record in real estate and a deep connection to the auction world, Sabine Davison brings extensive experience and insight to her role as judge for the REINZ National Auctioneering Champs. One of the aspects Sabine enjoys the most is helping lift standards and push boundaries around what great auctioneering looks and feels like. Being part of events that challenge auctioneers to grow, evolve and perform at their very best remains a constant highlight.
